LikhoRight
A parent-owned handwriting practice companion for Hindi, Marathi and English, designed around guided practice rather than opaque automated scoring.
Why it exists
Bring handwriting practice into a structured digital workflow.
LikhoRight combines on-screen tracing, notebook practice and private textbook exercises so parents can organise handwriting work without turning the child's school material into public content. It is built around family ownership, review and controlled rewards.
Current capabilities
Downloadable language packs and stroke/tracing practice.
Prompts for three-line and five-line exercises plus photo capture and review.
Textbook pages can be ingested privately, reviewed and converted into exercises.
Points, stars, deterministic unlocks and parent-controlled real-world rewards.
Encrypted local queues allow work to survive unstable connectivity.
Responsible release boundary
Engineering first, educational claims later.
The current build deliberately does not pretend that computer vision can reliably grade a child's handwriting without validation. OCR and geometric measurements exist as engineering components, but paper scoring remains gated until real educational benchmarking is completed.
