MathRush
A game-first way for children to practise multiplication without turning every session into another worksheet.
Why it exists
Make repetition feel like play.
Multiplication improves through repetition, but repetition is exactly what many children resist. MathRush explores a different loop: short game sessions, immediate feedback and persistent player progress, with the mathematics built into the play rather than presented as a long exercise sheet.
Current capabilities
Short interactive loops intended to keep practice active and repeatable.
Browser-based player profiles persist progress between sessions.
MongoDB stores player data behind the web application.
Runs in a browser and is accessible from phones, tablets and desktops.
Deployed through Docker and Coolify on the ReinventLabs VPS.
What I am learning
Education works better when motivation is part of the system.
MathRush is also a product experiment in balancing learning, game mechanics and persistence. The goal is not to hide the mathematics, but to make repeated practice feel more approachable and less monotonous.
